Born in Toronto, ON and of Antiguan heritage, Daryl has been involved with music since the age of eight, when he performed as part of the choir for the Anglican Church in downtown Toronto, and at the Trinity College Summer Music Program for Choir Boys in the early 1970s in Port Hope. It is actually at Trinity College in Port Hope, ON where Daryl was originally educated in music (therefore, musically he is a product of Port Hope).

Darly was introduced to the steel pan in Antigua & Barbuda WI at twelve.

Since 2005, Daryl has played the steel drum professionally at several events, including weddings, birthday parties, funerals, corporate events, and music festivals, and as an active member of the Pan Fantasy Steel Orchestra in North York.

In addition, Daryl is associated with local bands like Exxel, Music 365, and The St. Jamestown Youth Steel Orchestra, as well as playing alongside different bands and recording with other musicians.

Currently, he can be seen playing at the Toronto Harbourfront, at the Farmer’s Market at the Golden Beach Resort in Rice Lake, and at music festivals in the general Toronto area.
